Move over, Brangelina! Step aside Kim and Kanye! It looks like George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin’s wedding might be the event of the year!

A few days after tying the knot in a ceremony in Venice, Italy, the nuptials of the 53-year-old actor and 36-year-old human rights attorney are all that anyone can talk about.

People and Hello! Magazine have the first images from the high-profile ceremony, which included over a hundred of the gorgeous couple’s closest friends and family members. Amal wore an elegant Oscar de la Renta French lace gown while George opted for a black tuxedo designed by longtime friend Georgio Armani.

The festivities kicked off last Friday when the couple had their respective bachelor and bachelorette parties, followed by the wedding on Saturday and a civil ceremony yesterday in which the two legally became husband and wife.

Amal’s mother Baria told People of the weekend, “George and Amal radiated love all night. The wedding was so unbelievably special, it was legendary. These three days – the friends, the families, the atmosphere, everything – will stay with me all the rest of my life.”

Meanwhile, the Academy Award-winning actor and ex-bachelor said that marriage, “feels pretty damn great” and when asked what he and his bride have planned after their honeymoon, he simply replied, “We’re looking forward to everything.”

Congrats to George and Amal!
