Melissa McCarthy was among the winners at last night’s People’s Choice Awards, taking home the trophy for Favorite Comedic Movie Actress.

Everyone noticed how gorgeous the 44-year-old Mike & Molly star looked gorgeous in her all-black ensemble as she walked the red carpet, and many also noticed that she was also showing off a slimmed-down figure.

According to Star, the Bridesmaids actress has dropped 45 pounds since going on a low-carb diet and making better decisions regarding her health in general.

“Melissa realized she wasn’t being as healthy as she could be,” a source told the gossip mag. “She wants to set a good example for her kids and she wants to be around to become a grandmother, too.”

Congrats to Melissa! I hope she keeps having success with LCHF and can enjoy a long happy life with her husband and kids. What’s the point of money and success if you can’t enjoy it?
