Funny man Jason Segel had to put on a whopping 40 pounds for his new biopic role in The End of the Tour.
The actor was recently on Live with Kelly and Michael and said he packed on the pounds to play David Foster Wallace by eating Hot Pockets!
“I put myself on a Hot Pocket diet, which was two Hot Pockets every three hours. It was horrible. I was eating like 12 Hot Pockets a day at that point. I was so sick of them.”
12 hot pockets a day? Listen, I love ham and cheese Hot Pockets with a side of ranch dressing just as much as any high schooler, but 12 a day?! Segel said it was fun the first week, but then it was pretty awful after claming:
“I swore that I’d never eat another Hot Pocket, but if you put a Hot Pocket in front of me right now, I’d eat it.”
Some guys hit the gym for two a days and others get to eat like they have the munchies! Watch the full Live with Kelly and Michael interview below:
