There is a terrifying new app coming out in late November that will in fact allow users to treat people like they’re restaurants on Yelp or something.

It’s called ‘Peeple’ and you’ll be able to rate people including your exes, former co-workers and even boss!

Co-founder Julia Cordray told CBC News:

“You’re going to rate people in the three categories that you can possibly know somebody—professionally, personally or romantically.”

Isn’t this just basically bullying? Cordray also said consider this a way to grow and get some honest feedback. It’s not like you are rating a bad movie or restaurant, these are real people! How is this a good idea?

If you are afraid you might end up on the Peeple app, for someone to rate you they must first claim they know you professionally, personally or romantically. After that all they need is your cellphone number to put you in the database. Scary!
