Avril Lavigne And Chad Kroeger Reunite – Are They Back Together?

Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger were one of many celebrity couples who called it quits this year.

Back in September, the 31-year-old pop singer and 40-year-old Nickelback frontman announced they had filed for divorce after two years of marriage.

Taking to Instagram, Lavigne revealed the sad news by writing, “It is with a heavy heart that Chad and I announce our separation today. Through not only the marriage, but the music as well, we’ve created many unforgettable moments. We are still and forever will be, the best of friends, and will always care deeply for each other. To all our family, friends and fans, thank you sincerely for the support.”

However, it appears that there’s no bad blood between the two Canadian stars, and their ongoing friendliness is sparking rumors of reunion.

Yesterday (October 5), Avril shared a couple of photos that revealed she was in the studio with her ex-husband, and that they were collaborating on new music.

“YeeHaw! Writing with Chad today,” she wrote.

Another pic really got people talking, as Lavigne seemingly referenced the fact that the two met and fell in love while working on her self-titled album in 2012.

“Back where it all started …” she captioned a photo of Kroeger.
