Hold on to your perms (assuming you didn’t wash them out in the shower) because there could be another Legally Blonde movie in the works!

Reese Witherspoon recently did a Q&A with fans on Facebook Live when she hinted at a possible third installment to the franchise.

“[Legally Blonde] was really fun,” she said. “A lot of people have asked me if we’re going to make another Legally Blonde, and we’re thinking about it.”

The Oscar-winning actress also said that Elle Woods has been one of her favorite characters to play, saying, “I got to wear all the amazing costumes. I also got to work with a dog every day…I’m obsessed with dogs. I love dogs!”

Regarding what could happen in a follow-up to 2003’s Legally Blonde: Red, White and Blonde, Witherspoon mused, “I actually think it’s kind of great right now because we’re talking about women in politics and how important that is to get more women. And I think it’d be kind of a cool thing to have her be a Supreme Court justice or someone who runs for office, like president!”

But Reese wasn’t done teasing her fans yet!

When speaking about the possibility of another Sweet Home Alabama movie, Witherspoon said, “We are not making a [Sweet Home Alabama] sequel that I know of. But if Disney wants to make a sequel, they can just call me: I would happily make Sweet Home Alabama 2.”
