A release from the office of Governor Snyder this morning lists the Michigan schools which rank within the bottom 5% in the state.

Unfortunately, many of the schools were in the metro Detroit region, and fifty-eight of the 116 open lowest performing schools are in the Detroit district, according to CBS Detroit.

  5. Kelly Middle School
  6. Pleasantview Elementary School
  7. GEE Edmonson Academy
  8. Invest Roosevelt Alternative High School
  9. Mount Clemens Middle School
  10. Oak Park Preparatory Academy
  11. Pontiac Academy for Excellence – Elementary
  12. Alcott School
  13. Herrington School
  14. Pontiac High School
  15. Pontiac Middle School
