The Pumpkin Spice Latte has had a stranglehold on the autumn coffee game for quite sometime now. That said, it’s getting some company in 2016.

Alongside the beloved PSL, Starbucks announced it’s rolling out something a little spicier this fall: the Chile Mocha.

Inspired by a spicy Mexican hot chocolate, the Chile Mocha is comprised of a spice-infused cocoa powder, steamed milk and espresso, and is topped with whipped cream, cayenne pepper, ancho chile, cinnamon, paprika, sugar and sea salt.

Pick one up for yourself when Starbucks officially launches it on Sept. 6.

Introducing: Starbucks new fall drink, the Chile Mocha!!! I had my first one today. Customers can order it in a little over a week. Get excited! It's delicious! I drank mine as it comes: 2% milk, whipped cream, and 3 scoops of chile mocha powder infused into the milk. I doubled the shots of espresso though. Four ristretto shots wind up barely over the volume of two standard shots. I highly recommend this as a treat this fall, while it lasts. 😊👍🏼☕️🍫🌶 The heat is not intense, it's just a little spicy. And who couldn't use a little more sugar and spice and everything nice on a busy Saturday morning? #ilovemyjob #starbucks #newdrink #comingsoon #fallmenu #tobeapartner #mocha #whippedcreamwednesday #whippedcream #chocolate #chocoholic #coffeecoffeecoffee #espresso #coffeelove #chile #chilemocha #sugarandspice #caffeind #starbucksgirl #sbux #blackapron #greenapron #coffeemaster #delicious #tastetest #welcomewednesday #comeshighlyrecommended #sneakpeak #preview
