Hamilton is hitting the road, and it’s stopping in the Motor City!

It was announced yesterday by the show’s producer Jeffrey Seller that the hit Broadway musical will be taking up residency at The Fisher Theatre, but fans will have to wait a little while.

While speaking with Crain’s Detroit, Seller, who hails from Oak Park, revealed that the 11-time Tony Award-winning production won’t open in Detroit for around two-and-a-half years.

But if local musical lovers need something to tide them over, Hamilton is also set to open in Chicago this fall, as well as Cleveland sometime next year.
