When it comes to her traumatic situation in Paris over the weekend, Kim Kardashian knows who is responsible.

The 35-year-old reality TV star was bound, gagged and held at gunpoint in the bathtub of her hotel while five assailants stole a reported $10 million worth of her jewelry, including a $4 million ring gifted to her by her husband Kanye West.

Though she was physically unharmed during the incident, Kardashian is still badly shaken up, and is now rethinking every element of her lifestyle. That includes her use of social media and her tendency to publicly flaunt her wealth.

“Kim’s in shock and blaming herself. She’s tearing herself up that she Snapchatted the ring so much and wore it all the time,” an insider told People. This incident is making her question everything. How she dresses, what she does.”

Although her husband Kanye West wanted to replace the $4 million ring, Kardashian apparently thinks she’s better off without it.

“Kanye wants to buy her the ring again but she just says she doesn’t want to think about it. He says he wants everything to go back to normal and for the incident to not affect their lives,” a source said.

Since the robbery, Kardashian has been spending time with West and their two children in New York, and staying almost entirely out of the public eye.
