I thought Netflix was perfect in every way until I had a 12 hour flight that went over the ocean for a majority of it and in-flight Wi-Fi was a hilarious joke.

It’s as if Daddy Netflix heard me that day and was like, “Is it offline viewing that you would like, my child?” YAAAAAAAAAAAAAS.

I’m going to continue to believe it was me that was responsible for this, however according to Light Reading, they’re striving to keep up with competitors like Comcast, Amazon, and others.

Principal Analyst Dan Rayburn adds via Light Reading, “It’s a natural progression for Netflix to want to have some of their content available for consumers to watch offline, and we’ve been hearing for months now that they are in fact going to roll something out soon.”

I hope this idea of “soon” is serious! The less data the better!
