Like many schools in this extreme winter weather, Chippewa Valley High School in Clinton Township is rejoicing in tomorrow’s snow day.

But it’s a little different, because it was done with the help of choir student Daniella Grainger who calls this one of the “craziest nights of her life”, after writing her superintendent a song that quickly went viral.

“I wrote it today, it took me about six minutes”, Grainger revealed, “I had to hurry so I could post it soon enough for the superintendant to see, so I hurried up, ate dinner, and ran to my room and started writing.

The song rapidly gained lots of attention! Not only from fellow students but other local schools as well.

And the rest was history… CVHS superintendent later declared tomorrow’s snow day stating “CVS is closed on Thursday, December 14, 2017. I am excited to try my hot chocolate with these awesome new stackermallows.”

Enjoy your stackermallows, bud. We’ll be over here fangirling Daniella!
