(AMP) — Whether at home, at the office, between classes, or hanging out with friends and family, customers in southern Michigan now have the choice to have their favorite McDonald’s food and beverages delivered right to them.
McDelivery on Uber Eats has officially launched at 80 Michigan restaurants, including 53 in the Detroit area.
“We want to raise the bar on everything we do for our customers and make it as easy as possible for them to enjoy their favorites from McDonald’s on their schedules,” said Marla Thrower, McDonald’s owner/operator in Detroit.
“McDelivery is all about convenience, giving them the choice and control to enjoy their favorites wherever and whenever they want,” Thrower said. “It’s easy, it’s fast, it’s fun and we think our neighbors in Detroit will be lovin’ it.”
Customers can place McDonald’s orders on the Uber Eats mobile app or on Uber Eats.com, using the same account they use to take Uber rides and track their order, as an Uber Eats delivery partner brings their meal directly to them. An Uber Eats booking fee applies to each order.
New Uber Eats customers can get $5 off their first McDonald’s delivery order by using the coupon code MICHIGANMCDS through December 31, 2017.
